Dear Maria.
Last week i read a book about the judiasm. It told me about some heroes jews had and what they did .
Some examples are Anne Frank, Albert Einstein. They told me their mitzvhas and special abilities! i really related to this book because i am jewish and i do mitzvot! i really liked that they gave us activities or some questions to do in the book. Im sorry this is short but this is all i have to say and write!

Title: To Preserve History on the Moon, Visitors Are Asked to Tread Lightly
Author: Kenneth Chang
Source: The New York Times
The topic of the article is Preserving Moon History
The main idea of the article is: (implied/stated) The next generation of people visiting the moon might carelessly obliterate the site of one of humanity's greatest accomplishments, these designations were important first steps toward raising awareness of the need to protect off-world artifacts. (stated)
The author’s purpose for writing this article is to inform the readers
why it is important to keep the moon's most precious artifacts and monuments safe, like the steps of Neil Armstrong and Apollo 11 trips and more.
The author’s perspective in this article is objective/subjective (biased) because
The pattern of organization of the article is chronological order
The reason the author chose this pattern for the article is because it talks about how Dr.O'Leary tried to get in touch with NASA so that way she could tell them about what they could do to help prevent history on the moon from getting destroyed. It started in 1999 when one of her students asked her whether federal preservation laws applied to the Apollo landing sites. And it still goes on today to help preserve the moon for any future visitors.
The text features included in the article are The title (which helps to find out what the main idea of the story and what the story could maybe about).
This article is about (a summary in your own words) archaeologists and historians trying to help and make sure people do not damage the moon in the future.
The significance (importance) of this article is that archaeologists and historians are trying to protect the moon from any damage, mostly on historical sites, artifacts, and the places where some of the greatest space missions landed.
What I learned from this article is that when people will start paying to go to the moon they might destroy/damage monumental sites, and so people have must be careful to not hurt anything of nature, especially one of humanity's greatest accomplishments.
What I liked about this article was that the author made sure to include details and understandable information.
What I did not like about it was that he didn't talk much about what they are doing now about it.
Who should read this article and why whoever is planning to go to the moon (like they'd have the money) should read this article so that way they know that they shouldn't damage any part of the moon.
This article reminds me of
(text-to-self) This reminds me of the time when i went to a museum (science).
(text-to-text) This reminds me of the my science fold able
(text-to-world) People want to fly to the moon now.

Dear my classmate,
Last week i read an informational book called the Jewish heroes.
It focused on all the people that made a difference in this world and that were Jewish.
For example they used Albert Einstein because he made new inventions and found out many new discoveries.
They also used Anne Frank she made girls think differently especially Jewish ones.
I think this really influenced on me because i am Jewish.
They also talked about their big mitzvot that they gave the world.
A mitzvah is when someone does something nice and correct they did a mitzvah.
Giving people this idea might make the people look at the heroes at a good angle or bad angle.
I would look at it at a good angle because i think it is cool that us Jews made a difference on the world this shows we are part of it.
I felt good and joyful when i read his book because i knew that part of me did something and those special people are part me.
I felt proud and it also contributed with Martin Luther King Junior and his dream that everyone will have rights this shows that anyone can do anything!!
I hoped you liked my RJ!
Love,
Dana

Blog #19 science fiction
Dear Tal, i read the book matched i really like this book.
I think it has a lot of details and imaginative thing that could happen in the future.
This part Cassia got to say goodbye to her grandfather.
She got closer to Xander.
One day when all the friends went out for a movie Ben went with them which made Cassia nervous.
This book really shows how girls might react if they were in her place.
When I saw that Cassia really paid attention to Ben i got scared that she would start to like him instead of Xander because I think they should be together.
In the movie it showed some parts with people that dont belong in the society which made Ben mad and sad at tthe same time.
Only Cassia noticed this because she knew he didnt belong there.
The whole time Cassia looked at Ben then Xander then Ben again and then Xander.
Until finally she let Ben go and gave attention only to Xander.
I hoped you liked my RJ.Its kind of late because when i did it my computer froze and i was half way done so i couldnt put it on my Blog on time Sorry!
Love Dana!

RJ # 18
Dear Itay,
Last week i read Matched by Ally Condle.
I think its a really good book. So, i started from the middle because i read it but never finished. I still didnt finish because maybe its too challenging for me but its still a good book. From where i kept going Cassia had a mistake on her microcard so she spoke with an official. The official said the boy that was on her card by mistake was probably a cruel joke. Cassi knows this kid too she is scared because she wants xander as her match. the official gave her the real card and will take care of whoever did this. after the talk she found out ky was an initual which means he was adopted. Cassia was only going to tell her grandpa this because he wasnt going to live long he has only a little left. She went to her grandfather and told him the whole story. he was worried but then calmed down. They had an emotional moment then she had to leave. it was almost cassias final banquet so she had to plan what to give her grandpa for his final gift. cassia had a really strong relationship with her grandfather and will really miss him she was thinking about a poem but made him a letter that included a poem cassia couldn't stop thinking about Ky's story. But she couldn't. In the game place while looking around all her tablets fell and opened up she had to speak with an official again.
i really like this book i think girls should read it but i just like writing to you itay so hope you enjoyed my rj. :)
